Thornfield Environmental is a fictional consultancy. This site exists as a design demonstration and is not a trading business.

What this site collects

Nothing. There is no analytics script, no tag manager, no cookie of any kind, and no request to any third-party domain — fonts, images, stylesheet and script are all served from this domain. You can confirm that in your browser’s network panel.

The enquiry form

The form on the contact page validates in your browser and then navigates to a confirmation page. It has no server endpoint behind it, so nothing you type is transmitted, logged or stored anywhere.

On a live build

A real version would need: a lawful basis for processing enquiry data recorded in a register of processing activities, a retention period for enquiries that do not become instructions, a processor agreement with the mail host, and a documented subject access route. An environmental consultancy also routinely holds third-party personal data — complainant details in an odour or noise investigation, for instance — which needs its own basis and its own retention rule. Those are named here so their absence is deliberate rather than overlooked.
